As Tinker fights his battle with cancer, I just want to take this opportunity to thank him for all that he has done. A conversation of sports coverage in the county wouldn't be complete without mentioning all that he has done "For the Kids". I have known Tinker for several years as he covered my oldest son, and later on as I worked beside him covering youth and High School sports in Sweetwater. He is second to none, and will always be on top of the pedistal. He was always so friendly, and helpful to me. He covered so many sporting events, that I often wondered if he had a double. He has been an incredible inspiration to me in sports coverage as well as in life. His work had alot to do with me starting this website. While I will never be able to hold a candle to him, I just want him to know how much I appreciate all he has done for the community and " for the kids "! Thanks Tinker your the best !
