I have heard all this talk about how much the cats lost from last season, how they are going to have a rebuilding year and not do well, you know that might happen but I see it different. I think they lost some really bad attitudes, some 'its all about me' superstars, some "if i dont get to play every play crybabies" and yes some speed. But this years team will be a team, a real one, who will win and loose as a team. When we were down 13-7 to sequoyah did this team whine, blame everybody but themselves, NO !!!! they went out as a team and got it done. that is what it is all about. I have never been so proud of a team at Sweetwater in quite a few years. They showed guts. Will they win it all this year, not likely, but they are winners because they are not quiters. God bless this group for a great effort, and thank you coach Staff for all your hard work, and the rest of the coaches too !!
