can someone please tell me why we do not have a basketball coach for the girls. some of these girls may not be able to afford college, may not make the best grades for an academic scholarship and the only hope they have is an athletic scholarship. does anybody care about these girls? from my understanding tssaa rules state that if the girls do not have a team due to no one stepping up then our boys won't be able to play...not sure if this is true but this was told by a teacher and former coach. please if you are a teacher step up get you a good assistant coach and help these girls out. the season will be here soon and wat will they do? we wonder why sweetwater doesnt have good records in some sports its not the athletes its the school system. as i was saying it may be some young girls only hope for a brighter future so how is this not important? someone please help these girls!!!!
